To celebrate BEDA 50 Years, BEDA will organise an International Design Policy Conference in Helsinki on 4–5 December, 2019 in collaboration with Ornamo Art and Design Finland and coinciding with Finland’s Presidency of the European Union.
4th December will be a pre-conference day to encourage stakeholder meetings between conference participants. City of Helsinki kindly hosts a reception for conference participants on 4th December at 18–19h.
The conference on 5th December will start at 8:30h and close at 16h to be followed by annual Ornamo Awards ceremony and networking cocktails. The day will finish at 19h. Venue for the conference is Oodi, the new public library in the heart of Helsinki, created through a service design led approach.
