Are you interested in creating design businesses? Do you already have a company but need a business person or a designer to complement the team? Join us for Design ♥ Business Date 2018!
The program of the event includes inspiring and thought-provoking talks, fun exercises, confession hour, some cool presentations and pitches as well as networking. Food and drinks will be served.
How can you join?
The event is hosted in English. It is addressed to young designers and business persons who are interested in entrepreneurship. The event is free of charge, but with limited admission. Please register by filling one of the application forms below by September the 11th.
The event is part of Helsinki Design Week’s programme.

Juhani and his business partner Anssi have a burning passion to solve pesky everyday problems and make life easier through design. Magisso uses the services of upcoming Finnish designers and Juhani aims to raise a whole new movement under a new brand name called Nordinary.

Walid designs and runs entrepreneurship programs at Aalto University Executive Education. He works with large companies and startups from various industries such as video games, ICT, design, and cleantech. He also coaches pitching and networking for managers, founders and executives from public and private sectors. He is passionate about helping people to learn how to communicate and improve their ideas and products. And he loves food above anything else in life.

Sandra Viña holds a Master of Arts degree in industrial design. She is a PhD candidate in Aalto University/ARTS where she has worked in several design research projects and design education. Sandra’s experience and know-how lies in a theoretical and practical methodology. Her field of expertise is on user research and user-centric design; participatory, social and community design, co-design, and service systems design. She has planned and facilitated several workshops for the private and public sector and, she has also presented and published her designs and design research work in Finland and in international design research communities.
