Our products are made for professional users in a mining context, for environments and tasks that are not familiar from everyday life. You are not intimidated by complexity, information overload or technical details, but make an effort to learn and understand how to fit the pieces together.
Depending on the project, you may work with a team in Tampere or at other Sandvik sites around the world. Typically you will own the product UX and you can affect how UX work is conducted in each project.
Your work matters: very often the user interface that you design is a key part of the end-user’s job.
About your background
You have suitable degree in a UX-related field and experience in UX design, preferably with non-consumer products. You value the core usability underneath a pretty surface and that shows in your work. Your Figma designs are clear and clean and you are familiar with design systems. You communicate the nuances and reasoning behind your design work in excellent English and preferably also in Finnish.
What is in it for you?

Your work makes an impact toward safer and more sustainable mining all around the world. You work in a truly international environment with a lot of opportunities for your professional development and growth.
