Are you the type of UX/Product Designer that enjoys tech start-up environments but, at the same time, you could use the stability offered by a telco powerhouse that has dominated the Finnish market for the past 140 years – mostly during the uncertain times faced by the tech market? If you like the idea of enjoying the best that these both worlds can offer, this job might be for you.
Elisa IndustrIQ is a group within Elisa that builds technology for manufacturing. We are growing by acquiring well-established businesses across the world – each of them specialised in different aspects of manufacturing tech. One could claim that IndustrIQ works as Elisa’s very own VC or accelerator, hence the start-up/corporate mix.
You’ll have the chance to impact more than a dozen products made by five different companies – spread from Texas to Singapore – at once. You’ll strive to create a common UX and UI, as well as one common vision and, ultimately, a full design system.
You’ll be part of a complex environment, with complex product challenges, and a very ambitious vision of becoming a top player in the world of manufacturing technology – and we need someone senior like you to help us get there.
If you have:
- Solid understanding of usability, accessibility and design practices
- Eye for detail and a great sense of aesthetics and functionality
- Firm understanding of a digital product’s lifecycle and design systems
- Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma and/or Sketch
- Great communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- A good touch on presenting and discussing design with different stakeholders
- A strong data-driven and user-centric approach to design
- Eagerness to learn and grow
