Service Designer / Landis+Gyr

We offer an exciting opportunity to work in an international environment with the largest global player in the smart metering business. We are strengthening our service design team and looking for a Service Designer to join our Services and Solution unit in Jyväskylä.

In this role, you are responsible for assigned Service Designs as part of Product Management service portfolio development activities. You define and coordinate the efficient Solution stack, related service processes and policies for Managed Services Operations platform. You work closely with Product Management, Sales and R&D organizations to create perfect services packages for the customer needs. You also support the implementation of Service in After Sales phase. By developing new services in cooperation with Service Product management and Service Operations Design you enable the transition to Continuous Delivery.

Preferable you have experience of Service Design in Software Services. You have a good understanding of cloud business models, connected service tiers and levels. Experience in Cloud technologies (Containers, Kubernetes, Serverless, Analytics) and tools is expected. You are familiar with cloud system security requirements. Experience in project management is an asset, as well as understanding the concepts of Product management. We highly appreciate if you have any cloud certificates (i.e., AWS, Google, Azure). You have M.Sc. / B.Sc. in technical or equivalent.

You are passionate about turning the challenges into opportunities and solutions. Preferable you have demonstrated ability to work in cross functions teams in matrix / distributed environment. As we work in truly international environment, is it essential that you communicate fluently in English.
