You? Background in UX design of digital products, experience in leading design projects on your own as well as facilitating and conducting user research both in Finnish and English. Curious & problem-solving mindset.
Role? UX Designer leading real estate focused design work: collecting user & business insights, prototyping & validating new concepts, and creating designs.
Location? We work in a hybrid way and meet up as a team at our Helsinki office once, twice per week. We’re just a few steps away from the Helsinki railway station and Tuesdays you find most of us here thanks to our afternoon buns tradition!

Day-to-day work & projects cookingAs our new UX Designer, you help millions of people across the Nordics to find, sell and rent their homes on our Marketplaces Oikotie Asunnot in Finland, Blocket in Sweden and FINN in Norway. To start with, your focus is on home buyers & tenants and their user experience. You can also expect to discover other parts of our real estate business when projects touch their end and it’s time to shift your focus on other parts of the product.

You cover the user-centric design process from end to end and we dare to say that there’s no day alike (cliché, we know!). You’re responsible for the user experience, and let qualitative insights and behavioural data drive your designs. You identify and prioritise design problems, explore new concepts and validate them with mock-ups & prototypes with the help of our end-users. Constant improvement is always in your mind, thus you keep on measuring and analysing the usage of the newest launches and sharing your findings with Product Managers and Developers.

During your first six months, we expect you to settle in our team & the community and start taking over your role. With our help (ofc!), we see you starting contributing on a team level to user research and product design while getting to know how our cross-functional teams work. Further down the road, we hope that you can continuously help us to improve our working methods as well!
