Sustainability in Action: Shaping Design Networks 21.1.2026
Join us for a lively meetup bringing together three sustainable networks! Connect with Ornamo Responsibility Circle, Designers for Environment, & Sustinaires to share experiences, explore sustainable design and entrepreneurship, and get a first look at Ornamo’s new project.
There are many collegial groups formed around sustainability themes. What do these groups do? How do these groups work? Why do people join them? How do the groups approach sustainability challenges at the moment?
Ornamo Responsibility Circle has invited Designers for Environment (Ympäristömuotoilijat) and Sustinaires ry to meet and discuss peer networks and share thoughts between the three groups. We hear introductions from all, and have a short activity and plenty of time to discuss freely. Online participants will have their own discussion group.
In addition, we will hear about the new Ornamo KESY project, which aims to support designers in sustainable entrepreneurship. Anna Rikkinen and Iiris Adenius will present the project and what is to come in 2026.

Designers for Environment is a peer network focused on promoting responsible design, aiming to advance sustainable practices both within the design field and in Finnish society at large.
