Design student, join Ornamo and become part of Finland’s largest community of design professionals while you’re still studying!
As a student member of Ornamo, you become part of an inspiring community of 3,000 designers. As a student member, you can utilize all of Ornamo’s member services, member benefits, and participate in training and networking events.
Membership criteria
You can apply for Ornamo student membership if you are studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in design.
Degree titles include:
- Bachelor of Art (BA) / Taiteen kandidaatti (TaK)
- Master of Arts (MA) / Taiteen maisteri (MA)
- Designer / Muotoilija AMK
- Designer / Muotoilija YAMK
- Artenomi AMK
- Master of Science in Technology (Industrial Design Engineering, International Design Business Management, Architect)

Apply to become a member of Ornamo now.
We process applications continuously, except during the holiday periods in July and at the turn of the year. Membership begins when you receive confirmation by email and ends when you notify us in writing. The first membership invoice covers the end of the current year. Membership automatically continues for the next year and membership is invoiced once a year in January.
