The Finnish Association of Designers Ornamo’s autumn programme has been created to promote exciting dialogue and create new connections among the profession. The programme’s launch is set to coincide with the Helsinki Design Week, where Ornamo will foster debate on shaping the built environment and promote new business opportunities for the design sector by bringing together young designers and business graduates.

Enter and Ecounter, Ornamo’s thought-provoking and groundbreaking exhibition will remain at the Design Museum until 22 October. Exceptional in its scope, the exhibition showcases contemporary design as a from of high-end craftsmanship and as experimental investigations into space and materials as well as services, inclusive and participatory processes, concepts, digital user experiences and speculative visions for the future.

An arena, constructed in the middle of the exhibition space, will serve as the setting for discussion and debate on all aspects of design throughout the autumn season.
