Showcase your skills and stand out among design professionals on the renewed site!

The goal is to create an even more functional and impressive platform that promotes the careers of designers, offers new job opportunities, and strengthens the recognition of Finnish Designers in Finland and internationally.

Four key reforms for Ornamo members:

1. In the future, you can use the same usernames to log into both the ornamo.fi member pages and the finnishdesigners.fi website
2. The Design Jobs service will move to the finnishdesigners.fi website, and in the future, it will be possible to announce jobs and commissions there.
3. The new site will have an event calendar where members can add their own events and market them.
4. We are putting together comprehensive information packages on design and design procurement for the new site to support designers’ customers in acquisition.

Ornamo members can create a free profile in the service. The new site opened on May 2023 and Ornamo members are now able to log in and enter information there. The new site will replace the old site, so the old site will be decommissioned at the same time.

Since the new platform is very different from the old one, the current information will not be transferred to the new page.

In the future, finnishdesigners.fi will use the same credentials with the ornamo.fi member pages, which will enable the member to have an even more seamless user experience between different services.

Instructions to set your password:

• When you log in to the service for the first time, you must first go to change your password on the ornamo.fi website. Enter your email address and follow the instructions you receive in your email
• After that, log in to Finnish Designers at finnishdesigners.fi with your email address and the password you just created.
• If you want to change your password, you can do so via the my profile pages of the ornamo.fi pages.

Get help with creating a profile

We offer personal advice on using Finnish Designers and creating a profile.

You get the most out of the consultation when you have your CV ready and selected 1-2 references that you want to present on the platform (e.g. service, project, product or artwork). Choose one image for each and edit a concise 500-character text / reference.
