Specific legal question / 15 min

Our lawyer will advise you on one specific question. A fifteen-minute time is suitable, for example, for checking a salary matter, an employment matter or an individual contract condition. An appointment can be booked by both individual members and business members.

Legal advice for a personal member / 40 min

During the legal consultation, you can discuss, for example, a broader employment issue, your own intellectual property rights, check the employment contract or a few contract terms. You get the most benefit from the meeting when you send the material in advance and tell us what things you want to focus on within the time frame.

Please also note that if your case concerns company matters, such as a company contract, you should be a business member and book an appointment for a business member’s legal advice. Read more about business membership here.

Legal advice for a business member / 50 min

Counseling time is suitable, for example, for reviewing the company’s contractual, IPR, pricing, profitability or company law issues. You will get the most out of the meeting when you send the material to be reviewed in advance and tell what things you want to focus on during the meeting.

Legal advice’s open telephone service is open on Mondays from 15:00 to 16:00 and on Thursdays from 9:00 to 10:00.

During the open telephone hours, you can ask a short urgent question or map out which consultation time is best suited to your case.

Career sparring session / 15 – 60 min

We check your portfolio or CV, go through a job application, or help you get started. You get the most out of the consultation when you send us a portfolio and/or CV well in advance.

Career counseling / 45-60 min

We go through the designer’s or artist’s career plans, matters related to applying for a job or a grant. The focus of the meeting can be, for example, preparing a resume and portfolio, communicating your expertise or marketing yourself. You get the most out of the consultation when you send us the materials, such as the portfolio and CV well in advance.

Advising for creating a profile / 15 min

We’ll help you get started with creating your Finnish Designers profile. To make the most of the guidance, it’s recommended to have your CV ready and select 1-2 references that you want to highlight on the platform. For each reference, choose one image and edit a concise text of 500 characters. Examples of references can include a service, project, product, or artwork.
